Hi, my name is Justin Moreland. I am a designer, photographer, father and husband. I am currently employed at Pace International as a full-time graphic designer. I have done a few freelance design projects on the side, but most of my ‘free’ time is poured into my family and new found passion in still photography. God has blessed me with a photogenic wife and 3 children. Most of my photographic journey has been explored through them. Recently others have gained an interest in my work and I have enjoyed the opportunity to dabble further into photographing others. And while my main focus right now is still in graphic design, it is nice to delve into a similar creative outlet.
My philosophy
In both design and photography people are drawn to well thought out works of art and beauty. The world around us is full of inspiration. Creativity comes from looking at things a little differently and delighting in the little things. Whether it’s building a brand that people remember and associate with, or creating webpages that people enjoy interacting with, or freezing a moment in time that floods our emotions, it all plays on humanity's innate desire to explore. Great design is a reiterative process of simplifying and communicating in the best way possible for your intended audience.
